Unidentified persons attack pastor’s house

Unidentified persons attacked the house of a pastor in Dilsukhnagar in the wee hours on Thursday. The culprits threw empty beer bottles and crackers upon the house of Rev. Pastor Bhaskar, he said in a complaint filed at the Saroornagar police station.

Inspector A.V.R. Narasimha Rao of Saroornagar police station said the incident took place around 2 am at Rev. Bhaskar’s house. In his complaint to the police, the pastor has implicated one Mr Ramana Reddy, who has been allegedly trying to buy the house, where the pastor stays on rent. In his complaint, the pastor said he had refused to vacate the house, as many people from his parish come there for prayer.

A case has been filed under IPC Sections 290 (punishment for public nuisance), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 427 (mischief causing damage to property). Inspector Narasimha Rao said the police is looking into the pastor’s allegations and will take necessary action.
