Vijay Sai was key player: Jagan aide

Harish C. Kamarthy has alleged that the MP’s financial advisor V. Vijay Sai Reddy was key player in determining the share price, which was done in consultation with Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy. Mr Kamarthy is a close aide of Kadapa MP and YSR Congress president, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and director of Jagati Publications.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had explained the role of Mr Kamarthy in the supplementary chargesheet it had filed after the first one in July. The supplementary chargesheet also explained the role of Mr Jagadisan. The investigating agency attached 161 statements made by both the persons to the supplementary chargesheet in the Jagan Mohan Reddy illegal assets case.

The investigating agency had recorded both the people’s statements pertaining to investments and share value in Jagati Publications and Janani Infrastructure, companies owned by Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy. It is understood that Harish Kamarthy had revealed that Vijay Sai Reddy controlled the decisions regarding the financial matters of the companies even after he had resigned as director of the company. Mr Kamarthy also alleged that all the decisions were taken after extensive consultations with Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy.
