‘Chinese’ hackers hit CWG sites

India warded off hundreds of cyber attacks during the CWG as government officials revealed that persistent efforts were made by hackers in China to target the official CWG website and penetrate the computerised system and server.
Government sources said CWG sites came under sharp attack within two hours of the opening ceremony. “Constant firewalling had to be done...,” an official said.
