1 girl raped, 2 others molested in west bengal

A girl was raped by a youth at Dankuni in Hooghly while two other girls were molested in Birbhum and North 24 Parganas on Sunday evening.

The rape took place at Mrigala gram panchayat area. The girl was walking towards a relative’s house at around 7.30 pm when she met Mukhtar Mollah, a youth, on the road. Mollah invited her to his place at Muslimpara. As Mollah was known to her, she started walking with him, the police said. After reaching his house, Mollah allegedly sprayed some chemical on the girl to make her unconscious and raped her.
