10 IAS, 18 IPS, 39 PCS officers transferred
In a major administrative reshuffle, the UP government, on Sunday, transferred 10 IAS officers, 18 IPS officers and 39 officers belonging to the Provincial Civil Services cadre.
The reshuffle is believed to be a result of the feedback that the chief minister has received from legislators and ministers.
According to official sources, principal secretary, panchyati raj, B.M. Meena has been sent to stamp and registration department in the same capacity while principal secretary rural engineering department Manoj Kumar has been sent to the panchyati raj department.
Divisional commissioner, Aligarh, Anil Garg has been sent to rural development as commissioner while divisional commissioner, Agra, Manjit Kumar has been given additional charge of Aligarh division.
District magistrate, Balrampur, Sunit Chaturvedi has been made secretary in urban development department while secretary, PWD, Sanjiv Kumar has been made home secretary. DM Unnao Ranvir Prasad has been shifted to Lalitpur and this has been reportedly done on the compliant of SP MLA Udai Raj Yadav.
Divisional commissioner, Basti, S.K. Verma has been shifted to Moradabad in the same capacity, while divisional commissioner, Gorakhpur, K. Ravindra Nayak has been given additional charge of Basti division.
Among IPS officers, director-general home guard, Atul has been given additional charge of director, civil defence.
DG, technical services, Subrat Tripathi has been shifted to cooperative cell in the same capacity.
