12 year old crushed to death under bus in Chennai

A 12 year old girl pillion riding her father on a two wheeler was crushed under a SETC bus on Sardar Patel Road on Sunday night after speeding two wheeler, believed to part of racing gang, hit her vehicle.

The deceased was identified Shyleja, daughter of Hariharan, residing in Velacherry. Both were proceeding from Adyar to Velacherry when the bike rode by Suresh of Mambalam hit them.

Immediately after the accident other motorists over powered the bike racer and beat him up before handing him over to police.
