12 year old raped, killed by minor boys

A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped and strangulated by three teenage boys in Akvapur village here, police said on Wednesday.

The body of the girl, who went missing on Tuesday evening, was found hanging from a tree on the premises of a shrine here, they said.

Police registered an FIR in this connection and all the three accused - aged between 13 to 17 - were arrested, ASP Balendu Bhushan said, adding the body of the girl has been sent for post-mortem.
