13 IAS officers transferred in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh government on Tuesday transferred 13 IAS officers.

Ten of them got new postings.

Transport Commissioner Hiralal Samariya has been transferred and posted as Chairman and Managing Director of Power Transmission Corporation of AP Limited.

On transfer, the incumbent in AP Transco, Ajay Jain, has not been given any posting.

Agriculture Commissioner V. Usha Rani has been shifted after agriculture minister Kanna Lakshminarayana reportedly petitioned the Chief Minister against her over floating of departmental tenders, informed sources said.

K. Madhusudhana Rao has been made the new Commissioner of Agriculture while Usha Rani has been made the State Project Director of Rajiv Vidya Mission.

Rajiv Rajan Mishra, who spent about five years in the Irrigation Department as Secretary, has finally been shifted to the Municipal Administration Department as Principal Secretary, in place of Vijay Kumar. Kumar has not been given a new posting.

B. Arvinda Reddy has been posted as Principal Secretary, Irrigation, in Mishra's place. Panchayat Raj Commissioner Sunil Sharma has been posted as Secretary, Infrastructure and Investment Department, in the existing vacancy, according to an order issued by Chief Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi.

In other transfers, Vijay Mohan has been posted as the Managing Director of AP Foods, M. Padma as Chief Rationing Officer, Hyderabad, Gaurav Uppal as Executive Director of AP Housing Corporation and G. Suvarna Panda Das has been posted as Executive Director of Hyderabad Metro Water Board.
