15 injured in explosion at bus stand in Tamil Nadu

At least 15 persons, including four students, were injured when a country-made bomb exploded on Monday at a bus stand near Udumalpet, about 70 km from here, the police said.

The explosion occurred at Kuzhumam bus stand in neighbouring Tiruppur district, they said, adding the cause of the explosion is being ascertained.

The police said they suspect it could be a country-made bomb. Most of the injured had been admitted to local hospital and some were referred to the government hospital here, they said.
