17 IPS officials shifted, Joshi is south zone DCP

Hyderabad: The state government on Monday transferred 17 IPS officials of IG, DIG and SP ranks.
The Medak superintendent of police, Mr Avinash Mohanty, who was facing opposition from political leaders was shifted out and posted in a loop line posting as commandant of APSP 4th battalion in Mamnoor.
Intelligence SP Mr G.  Vijay Kumar was posted as Medak SP. Central Zone deputy commissioner of police Dr Tarun Joshi was posted as South Zone DCP. Mr L.K.V. Ranga Rao has been posted as DCP (crimes) in Hyderabad.
Special intelligence branch SP, Mr V.B. Kamalasan Reddy, was posted as Central Zone DCP. Mr Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat joint commissioner of police, administration, was posted as joint commissionner of police, special branch in the city. Nizamabad range DIG Mr N. Sanjay was posted as joint commissioner of police (administration) in the city.
Cyberabad Law and Order joint commissioner of police Mr Atul Singh has been posted as Anti Corruption Bureau additional director. IG Anjana Sinha who was waiting for a posting was shifted to Crime Investigation Department in the existing vacancy.
Mr M.K. Singh who was waiting for a posting, was posted as deputy commissioner of police, City Armed Reserve. SP Intelligence Mr P. Viswa Prasad was transferred and posted as deputy commissioner of police, (Law & Order) of Visakhapatnam city.
APSRTC (vigilance and security) director Mr V.V. Srinivasa Rao was posted as APSP battalions DIG.
DIG Dr Shankha Brata Bagchi of Greyhounds was transferred and posted as CID DIG. Mr Anil Kumar DIG Kurnool range was posted as DIG CID, administration, Hyderabad city.
Mr V. Naveen Chand, joint commissioner of police of Special Branch was transferred and posted as DIG vigilance & enforcement. DIG G. Surya Prakasa Rao of Eluru range was posted as CID DIG. DIG J. Ajay Kumar of CID was posted as DIG of APSP battalions. Meanwhile the government conferred IPS to Mr Tafseer Iqubal to Indian Police Service.
