2 jawans die as valley gets heavy snowfall
Two Army jawans posted in Kashmir frontier were killed and another injured in a “weather-related” incident on Friday. Kashmir Valley and its neighbourhood are receiving season’s heaviest snowfall since Thursday evening, disrupting communications and snapping power supply to many areas.

A report from frontier district of Kupwara said that three Army personnel were injured in an incident of LPG leak inside their bunker and later two of them succumbed. Another report suggested they were buried in mounds of snow when an avalanche hit their post in Naugam sector close to the LLoC early Friday.
