3 Malayalis among Sindhurakshak crew

Thiruvananthapuram: Three Keralites have reportedly died in the Mumbai naval ship mishap. They were identified as Liju Lawrence, 28, of Vazhichal, Neyyar dam, near here, V. Vishnu of Harippad and Vikas of Thalassery.
Though there were reports that a Poojapura native, Venkat Raj, was also involved in the mishap, it was not confirmed. The family of Liju left for Mumbai soon after they received the news about the mishap on Wednesday morning.
According to local sources, Liju is the son of Lawrence and Vimala andmarried to Soumya. He has been with the Navy for the last two years and was expected to visit home for Onam.
