3.7ºC: Delhi shivers, cold to continue
The national capital woke up to the coldest day of the season so far on Tuesday with the minimum plummeting by nearly five degrees since Monday to 3.7ºCelsius and the maximum temperature not going beyond 12.7ºCelsius, a drop of 2ºCelsius since Monday.
Fog in the morning hours added to the woes of the Delhiites even as rail and air services got affected. A 10-year-old girl also reportedly succumbed to extreme cold.
The extremely cold weather conditions are likely to continue over the next couple of days, the weatherman said. While nights are likely to remain clear, fog will appear in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 13ºC and 3ºC.
