40 Pak militants to enter through J&K?

Around 40 hardcore terrorists of different Pakistan-based militant outfits will attempt to cross into the Indian territory this month. The latest intelligence inputs reveal that these militants will try to enter India through Gurez and Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir. Sources said that the majority of the militants who would attempt infiltration belong to Lashkar-e-Tayyaba.

Radio conversation between code A-3 (control station LeT in Pak-Occupied-Kashmir) and code delta-1 (base headquarters LeT in PoK) intercepted on April 24, at about 1410 hours revealed that militants would try to cross Indian border through J&K in the month of June, sources said.
“A total of nine hardcore militants of Hizbul Mujahideen, 10 of LeT, 12 of both LeT and HM and 15 militants of other outfits will try to cross the border. All Over Ground Workers (OGWs) and guides of these outfits have already been alerted,” sources added.
Militants are in constant touch with their area commanders based in Baramulla and Kupwara, sources said, adding that they were waiting at several launching pads located at Dogi Chham and Sonar in PoK. Security along the international border has been heightened following the inputs.
“Nine militants of HM are waiting at Dogi Chham launching pad and their likely route of infiltration will be through Bokra gali located in PoK. Their guide, Rafiq, based in Baramulla, has already been alerted. They are waiting to recruit another guide, after which the militants will make an attempt to cross over,” sources added.
Besides, 10 militants belonging to LeT are also waiting at Dogi Chham launching pad and their likely route will be Garaja gali near Baramulla sector, sources added.
Sources further said, “The area commanders of militant outfits have also been instructed to start fresh drive to recruit militants by the ISI. They have been asked to recruit at least 10 new militants in their respective outfits every month.” The area commanders have been warned by the ISI that the financial and logistical support would be withdrawn from them if they failed to follow the instructions.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
