7 suspected ultras held in Bihar
Seven suspected ultras were arrested in this Bihar district on Saturday during intensified search by security forces for securing the release of three policemen being held hostage by Maoists. "We have arrested seven suspected Naxalites from forests during combing operations," the deputy superintendent of police, Mr A.K. Chandra, told PTI. Those arrested were identified as Suresh Marandi, Rajendra Hembrom, Vinod Marandi, Tanik Lal Tutu, Shatrughan Koda, Sanjay Kumar Ram and Kapil Koda, he said. They were taken to the Kharagpur police station here for interrogation, Chandra said.
