9-year-old girl molested on Goa beach
A nine-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused by an unidentified youth at the Miramar beach in Goa earlier this week, said the Panaji police, adding that the girl’s mother registered a complaint on Tuesday night.
In her complaint, the mother stated that she, her daughter, along with some other family members, had gone to the Miramar beach in the evening to watch the sunset. Her daughter was playing in the sand some distance away when an unidentified man came up to her and molested her.
The mother said that he even hit the child when she resisted before running away. The police has sent the girl for a medical examination at the Goa Medical College. It might be recalled that last year, a Russian teenage girl was molested by a Maharashtrian in a similar fashion at the Arambol beach.
