Aamir Khan on Time magazine cover
Superstar Aamir Khan, fresh from the success of his debut TV show Satyamev Jayate, has been featured on the cover of Time magazine.
Khan features on the cover of the Asia edition of the magazine, which will be out next week.
With a close-up picture of his face, the title for the cover reads: "Khan's Quest -'He is breaking the Bollywood mold by tackling India's social evils. Can an actor change a nation."
The 47-year old actor's show, which wrapped up on August 15, highlighted social evils like female feoticide, sexual abuse and domestic violence.
"The solution has to start with me, with every individual. After all, if these terrible things are happening in my society, then I have a share of the blame, because I've done nothing to stop them. A solution can only begin to appear once I accept it's partly my fault, and then you accept that it's partly your fault, and a third person and a fourth person," he said.
Other Indian actors to feature on the cover of the magazine are Parveen Babi and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
