Aarushi murder: Parents Nupur, Rajesh stand as accused

The CBI closure report into the Aarushi Talwar murder case has named the girl's parents Nupur and Rajesh as accused.

The pair have been charged under Sections 302 (murder), 120(b) (criminal conspiracy), 201 (destruction of evidence). The court has also set February 28 as date for next hearing into the double-murder case.

Father Rajesh was a prime suspect earlier but now his wife Nupur too has been brought in as co-accused. A court had earlier decided that there was not enough evidence against Rajesh.

While naming the pair as accused, the court added that circumstantial evidence was enough to to press charges against them.
