Actor Anjali calls up, police clueless

Hyderabad: South Indian actor Anjali, who went missing from Daspalla Hotel in Jubilee Hills on Monday, called up her mother on Wednesday and assured her she was safe.
Talking to Deccan Chronicle, Anjali’s brother Ravi Shankar, who had filed a missing complaint with the Jubilee Hills police on Tuesday, said, “Anjali called my mother at 11 am today and said that she is safe and not to worry about her.” Police officials, meanwhile, said that they are trying their best to trace her.
While actress Anjali called up her mother on Wednesday, assuring her that she is safe, her brother Ravi Shankar said that they would not withdraw the missing complaint.
Anjali also took the phone number of Suresh Productions, to whom she had given dates for the remake of the Hindi film Bol Bachchan, her brother said.
Police officials said they are trying their best to trace the actress.
West Zone DCP G.Sudheer Babu said that Anjali had walked out of the hotel on Monday morning alone.
