Advani calls for zero tolerance against terror

Bharatiya Janata Party leader L.K. Advani on Thursday called for a stringent state policy of zero tolerance against the terrorism. He also alleged that the triple bomb blasts in Mumbai were a part of Pakistan’s anti-India campaign.
“India has been facing hostility from its neighbour Pakistan since its Independence in 1947. The first war took

place in 1947 itself, when Pakistan attacked Kashmir. Pakistan has since lost every war but after the 1971 defeat, they have started multiple proxy wars. Repeated terror attacks are part of that proxy war,” said Mr Advani.
Reacting to the suspicion that Indian Mujahideen was behind the blasts, he said, “Even if it is Indian Mujahideen, they get their sustenance from Pakistan.”
The veteran Bharatiya Janata Party leader added that the repeated terror attacks in the country are actually an indication of failure of policy rather than failure of intelligence. He said the only way the Indian government can deal with terror is that it should declare zero tolerance policy towards terrorism.
