Air India Express flight from Kuwait makes emergency landing

An Air India Express Kuwait-Kochi- Kozhikode flight, with 61 passengers on board, made an emergency landing at the airport here this morning after the pilot reported a hydraulic problem.

All passengers are safe, airline sources said. The pilot of the flight IX 394 with six-member crew reported hydraulic problem half-an-hour before it was to land following which emergency support was provided, the sources said.

The flight landed at 10:15 am.

The Kozhikode-bound passengers have been sent by taxis.
