Akhilesh Yadav reshuffles portfolios of some ministers

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday reshuffled the portfolios of some ministers.

Already holding a whopping 50 portfolios, the 38-year-old chief minister added four more ministries to himself, taking the number to a new high of 55.

A notification from Chief Secretary Anoop Mishra said the chief minister had withdrawn the portfolio of agriculture (Foreign Trade), agriculture Import and agriculture marketing and added them to his own portfolio.

Mohd Azam Khan has been given the additional charge of Shahri Samgra Vikas while another cabinet minister, Ambika chowdhary, has been given Lok Seva Prabandhan as well.
