Amar film to hit back at critics
Former Samajwadi leader Amar Singh will now hit back at his political detractors with a film in Bhojpuri. “We are ready with a script for the film titled Dhoka which is being made by Bhojpuri star Manoj Tiwari. The film will be in Bhojpuri and will centre around two main characters called Chalu Prasad and Talu Prasad and will highlight the
plight of the people of Purvanchal who have been duped and betrayed by almost all politicians,” Mr Amar Singh told reporters here on Wednesday.
Mr Singh said that the film would be released in 2012, just before the UP Assembly elections.
Asked about the star cast of the film, Mr Singh said that stars like Jaya Prada and Sanjay Dutt were ready to act in the film.
“It is up to Manoj Tiwari to decide upon the cast of the film. If he says, I may also act in it,” the former SP leader said.
Meanwhile, Mr Singh on Wednesday was declared the president of his All-India Lok Manch while Mr Obaidullah Azmi was appointed the working president. Ms Jaya Prada will be the vice-president and Mr Sanjay Dutt will be the nation secretary general of the manch.
Mr Manoj Tiwari has been appointed the national president of the cultural wing of the Manch called Bhartiya Sanskritik Lok Manch.
