American bill to punish Pak dollar by dollar
A far-reaching legislation has been introduced in the US Congress that would deduct $50 million from the aid to Islamabad for every American killed by terrorists operating from Pakistan.
“Pakistan has for dec-ades leveraged radical terrorist groups to carry out attacks in India and Afghanistan,” Congres-sman Dana Rohrabacher said introducing the Pakistan Terrorism Acc-ountability Act of 2012.
The legislation would require the department of defence to list all Americans killed by terrorist groups operating inside Pakistan and Afg-hanistan and supported by elements of Pakistani government. For each person killed, $50 million would be subtracted from US foreign assistance to Pakistan and given to the victim’s family.
“For too long America has funded the Pakistani government, giving it free money, while elements of the ISI and Pakistan’s military operate radical Islamic gro-ups that are actively murdering Americans. Americans will not accept this,” Rohrab-acher, chairman of the House foreign affairs oversight and investigations subcommittee, said.

Intelligence alert ‘planted’ on RAW
Rajnish Sharma
New Delhi, May 12
A high-level internal probe by the government into a recent intelligence alert that caused considerable embarrassment to New Delhi’s security and intelligence establishment has revealed that the country’s premier external intelligence agency, RAW, had been “deliberately set up and wrong information was planted on it by a high-value source”.
It has also been revealed, sources added, that this was done at the behest of Pakistan’s intelligence agency to tarnish RAW’s credibility.
A few days ago the Intelligence Bureau had issued an alert, on the basis of inputs given by RAW, that five terrorists had sneaked into India to target vital installations in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Punjab. The intelligence agency had also released photographs of the suspects.
