Amrita Pritam’s son killed at flat in Mumbai
Navraj Kawatra, 65, a film producer and photographer and son of iconic Punjabi writer-poet Amrita Pritam, was found brutally murdered at his residence-studio at Mumbai’s Borivali area Friday afternoon.
The police has launched a manhunt for two unidentified men seen fleeing the building, and a murder complaint has been registered. He was found strangled to death.
The police said the deceased lived at Wilderness Cooperative Housing Society at Borivali’s LIC Colony. Around 12.30 pm Friday, neighbours saw two men enter the building, and loud noises were heard.
