Andhra man involved in five fraudulent marriages found dead

A man, who cheated five girls into marriage and decamped with huge dowry each time, was on Friday found dead here, police said.

The body of N. Narendra, 30, was found in an abandoned car in the premises of a government hospital here, they said.

It appeared that he was stabbed and strangled, they said.

Police suspect that the relatives of one of his victims could be behind the murder.

Narendra, claiming to be a government officer, had cheated at least five girls by marrying them and collecting huge dowry each time.

He was arrested and subsequently enlarged on bail, police said, adding, further probe is on in the matter.
