Andhra mantri quits over no t-decision
Andhra Pradesh infrastructure minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy resigned from the Cabinet and his seat in the state Assembly on Saturday. Mr Reddy met governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Saturday evening and submitted his letter of
resignation from the post of minister in the Cabinet. As per convention, the governor forwarded the letter to the chief minister for his recommendation. Mr Venkata Reddy said he had kept his word and quit both posts immediately when the Central government did not announce a decision on the formation of Telangana state before the deadline of September 30.
However, Mr Venkata Reddy said he is not going to quit the Congress.
