AP governor attacked, TRS men beat up MLA, MLC
Politics in Andhra Pradesh touched a new low on Thursday as for the first time in the history of the state Legislative Assembly, the constitutional head of the state, the governor, Mr E.S.L. Narasimhan, was attacked by pro-Telangana leaders in the House. The incident later precipitated into a conflict with two leaders, Lok Satta Kukatpally MLA Jayaprak-ash Narayan and Congress MLC Paladugu Venkat Rao, being beaten by TRS men in full view of TV cameras. In the second incident, Mr Narayan and Mr Venkat Rao were beaten by TRS MLAs and their supporters when they condemned the behaviour of TRS and TDP MLAs.
