Army chief ‘outraged’ at letter to PM being leaked
An 'outraged' army chief General V.K. Singh on Thursday rejected allegations of having leaked a letter written by him to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh about the shortage of arms and ammunition in the forces.
A statement by the army chief on Thursday morning said he was 'outraged' that the letter had been leaked. He said the leak should be treated as a 'high treason' and added that the source of the leak should be found and punished.
