Army launches operation in Ramban

Army troops on Monday launched a cordon and search operation to track down a group of militants in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Acting on intelligence inputs about the presence of a group of militants in forest belt of MundakBasa-Kadhla belt of district early on Monday morning, Rashtriya rifles troops launched the cordon and search operation, an Army officer said here. Massive searches were going on after the militants were spotted in the area, he said.
