Army rescues 11 people trapped in snow-bound JK

Army on Monday rescued 11 people from snow-bound areas of Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district.

Acting on an information that 11 Public Health Engineering department employees who had gone for repair of water supply system were trapped in snow-hit Alkanda region, a 20-member Army team rushed to the spot and evacuated them from there, Defence PRO S N Acharya said.
