‘Arrogant’ Pak breaches LoC truce 5 times after flag meet
The Indian Army said Tuesday Pakistan had violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Kashmir five times after Monday’s brigadier-level flag meeting, which failed to make a breakthrough.
The fourth and fifth ones were on Tuesday afternoon and evening, with Army sources saying: “They targeted own posts along the LoC in Mendhar with small arms and machine-guns. We didn’t retaliate.”
Northern Command GOC-in-C Lt. Gen. K.T. Parnaik, told reporters in Akhnoor: “We have a lot of options, but we’re watching developments closely and will not act in haste or anger.”
Lt. Gen. K.T. Parnaik accused Pakistan of “fabricating things” and being “arrogant and adamant; not ready to admit anything.”
