Asaram rap for Sonia and Rahul

Self-styled Godman Asaram Bapu, who has been booked for sexually abusing a minor girl and has been served a summon by Rajasthan’s Jodhpur police to present himself on Friday for questioning, targeted Congress president Sonia Gandhi and AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi in the state capital on Friday where he said without naming the Congress leaders that he is being trapped at their bidding.
Asaram Bapu arrived here on Thursday afternoon by a special aircraft following the death of Jai Krishnani, the father-in-law of his son Narain Sai. He died of a heart attack at Asaram’s Ashram at Gandhinagar, a suburb here.
Talking to mediapersons at the airport, Asaram said that he does not want to level any allegation against any political party but has heard that he is being roped in because of Madam and her “worthy son” at whose behest the Rajasthan police is harassing him and his followers.” Everybody can see the outcome, he said adding one person has already lost his life.
When journalists asked him to explain the basis for leveling the charge against the Congress president and her son, Asaram Bapu said with folded hands that he has only stated what he has heard.
