Attackers hit Tunda near court

Top Lashkar-e-Tayyaba operative and “bomb expert” Abdul Karim Tnnda, who was produced in a magistrate’s court on Tuesday, was remanded to a further four days in police custody.

Before that, though, he was attacked by alleged “Hindu Sena” activists as he was being taken to court, soon after he got down from a police jeep. He was hit on his back and stomach before the policemen guarding him formed a protective chain around him.
The magistrate later directed the police to ensure Tunda’s safety.
