Auto driver beaten to death in Delhi

A 32-year-old auto driver was beaten to death after scuffle over a minor road accident in the national capital.

The incident happened late on Thursday night in Outer Delhi’s Vijay Vihar area.

Sources say that the victim Rajesh Kumar’s auto rickshaw got accidentally bumped into an Innova car. This aggravated the passengers of the car.

According to initial reports there were four people and they pulled out the auto driver from his vehicle. The youngsters started abusing Kumar his carelessness.

Then Kumar was mercilessly beaten, dragged on the road by the accused and later hit his head with a stone, leading to his death.

One person who has been arrested is identified as Rahul, while his accomplices are absconding. There are also reports saying that only two were involved in the murder.

The accused are said to be youngsters belonging to upper middle class families.
