Ayodhya: Bid for out-of-court deal

In a gesture that could write a new chapter in the Ayodhya story, Moham-mad Hashim Ansari, the oldest litigant in the Ayodhya title suits, met Nirmohi Akhara chief Mahant Gyan Das on Sunday to discuss the possibility of an out-of-court settlement on the dispute.
Mr Ansari said he favo-ured a dialogue between the concerned parties before the issue was challenged in the Supreme Court. Mahant Gyan Das, however, refused to comment on the matter.
