Baba Ramdev leads march to Parliament

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Monday asked his supporters at Ramlila Maidan to make a move to the parliament to take the agitation to the next level. However, Delhi police says that they won't be allowed to do so.

Heavy security was deployed in and around Parliament House since morning. Delhi Police personnel were deployed inside Ramlila Maidan as well.

Ramdev even attacked Congress; and asked people to remove it from power and save the country.

Ramdev has demanded that government bring a strong Lokpal bill, ensure transparency in naming heads of the CBI and the EC and make efforts to bring back black money stashed in foreign banks.

He had on Sunday deferred to Monday the announcement of his next course of action. A march to Parliament and a mass courting of arrest aren't ruled out.

He declared, it is now time for a "nationwide mahakranti in every home, every lane of every village across each district."

Ramdev's demand was similar to the one that was heard during his last year's stir at the ground that ended in a midnight purge by the police.
