Bad facilities anger young brigade
The Deccan Chronicle C-fore election survey reveals that the young voters of the state are really angry at the pathetic infrastructure of Kerala. They clearly state that this would influence their voting behaviour.
Around 79 per cent of respondents said their voting would be influenced by the state of physical infrastructure such as roads, drinking water and garbage disposal.
The results also reflected the growing aspiration level of Kerala youth with 69 per cent of the respondents saying that the environment was ripe for a huge economic surge. While 24 per cent said ‘no’ as answer to our question, ‘is the environment ripe for a huge economic surge?’ 7 per cent maintained ‘can’t say’.
The expectation throw light on all aspects of socio-political life that pull Kerala down. They, of course, are for economic reforms.
