Be careful while making remarks on Ayodhya: LK
Senior BJP leader and party’s parliamentary party chairman L.K. Advani has asked party MPs to “exercise caution” while making statements on Ayodhya issue. He said this during BJP’s parliamentray party meeting on Tuesday. The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court is set to deliver its verdict on the Ayodhya title suit next month. However, the BJP chief Mr Nitin Gadkari refrained from making any statement on the issue.
When the BJP chief was asked to comment on RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and VHP leader Ashok Singhal’s statement that irrespective of a court ruling, they will continue to press for construction of Ram temple at the disputed site, Mr Gadkari said “You have asked your question. To answer is my right and my answer is no comments.”
Mr Advani expressed “satisfaction” on the role of party MPs during the Monsoon session.
