Bhanwari murder case: Key accused escapes from court

Kailash Jhakhar, a key accused in the murder case of Bhanwari Devi has fleed from the Jodhpur sessions courton Thursday morning.

Kailash, who had allegedly disposed off Bhanwari's body, had been brought to the court by the police in connection with another case in which he is facing criminal charges.

Kailash was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in January 2012 and has been lodged in the Jodhpur Jail since then.

Bhanwari Devi, who allegedly features in a compromising position with sacked Rajasthan minister Mahipal Maderna in a CD, had gone missing on September 1 2011.
