Is Bhatkal ‘replaced’ with IM’s No. 2 man?
Has Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence already replaced Ahmed Sidibapa alias Yasin Bhatkal with another Indian commander in its robust anti-India operations?
Sources say while Yasin’s arrest is a major triumph for the Intell-igence Bureau and Nati-onal Investigation Agen-cy, it is most likely he has already been repla-ced by the Indian Mujah-ideen’s second-in-command. While Yasin’s mentors and distant cou-sins Riyaz Shahban-dari and Iqbal Shahban-dari, alias Bhatkal, fled to Pakistan in 2008, he rem-ained in India barring a brief spell in 2005-06 to identify, recruit, fund and execute terror atta-cks. Yasin travelled under various aliases like Imran and Shahrukh.
