BJP core group meets over Ramdev issue

The BJP core group met on Friday late evening to decided its future course of action on the Ramdev issue. The core group comprising party chief Nitin Gadkari, Ms Sushma Swaraj and Mr Ananth Kumar met at the residence of senior leader L.K. Advani. Sources disclosed that the saffron camp intends to make Ramdev a major political issue to take

on the government. It was learnt that the BJP has also been asked by the RSS to rally behind Ramdev and try create “movement” on the anti corruption issue. The party intends to organise nationwide protests and senior leaders are likely to travel across the country to target the government on the issue of corruption and Ramdev.
