BJP leader on yatra to cover 35 rajasthan seats
Though last time he was forced to call off his rathyatra when state Leader of the Opposition Vasundhara Raje opposed it, this time senior BJP leader and former home minister Gulab Chand Kataria kicked off his yatra from Gogunda under Udaipur district.
The differences in party further resurfaced when Rajya Sabha MP Ramdas Agarwal reacted sharply on Ms Raje referring a comment made by one of her loyals as “Raje is BJP and BJP is Raje”.
Mr Kataria chose Gogunda, the place where Maharana Pratap’s raj tilak (coronation) was performed, for launching his yatra aimed to cover 35 Assembly segments of south Rajasthan.
