BJP's names for JPC out
New Delhi: Former Union ministers Jaswant Singh and Yashwant Sinha and senior leader Harin Pathak from the Lok Sabha will represent BJP in the JPC on 2G spectrum scam while the party would give its fourth seat in the House to its long time ally Shiv Sena.
Disclosing this in a tweet, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj said Deputy Leader of the BJP in the Rajya Sabha S. S. Ahluwalia and chief spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad will represent the party in the JPC from the Upper House.
The Shiv Sena is likely to nominate Anath Geete to the JPC, sources said.
The JPC will have a total of 30 members, with 20 from the Lok Sabha and 10 from the Rajya Sabha.
Another NDA ally, JD(U) will have two members, one from each House, in the JPC.
