Blunt forehead injury led to Aarushi death
The CBI probe into the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case has revealed that the 14-year-old daughter of dentist couple died due to blunt injury caused on her forehead. The wound on the neck was apparently caused later, after her death.
According to sources the blunt injury on Aarushi’s face was caused first which was sufficient for her death. The 14-year-old daughter of dentist couple, Dr Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, was found dead with her throat slit in her parent’s home at Jalvayu Vihar in Noida on May 15, 2008. Body of their domestic help 45-year—old Hemraj, earlier seen as a suspect, was found on the terrace next day.
The probe by the agency has also revealed that as soon as the body of Aarushi was taken for cremation, the family members of the deceased allegedly showed undue haste in thoroughly cleaning the floor and wall of Aarushi’s room with soap and water.
The blood-stained mattress was also thrown on the terrace of Dr Rajesh Talwar’s neighbour, sources added.
“The scene of crime was inspected by an expert from Forensic Science Laboratory, Ghandhinagar. The expert gave detailed report in which he pointed out that the crime had been committed by someone very close to Aarushi. The expert had also said that the body of Hemraj was dragged on the roof with a sheet,” sources said. The distance between the bed of the Talwar couple and Aarushi was around eight to nine feet, sources added. When the case was handed over to the CBI, almost all vital evidence had already vanished because of contamination of crime scene, sources added.
The probe has reportedly revealed that there was no forced entry into the house and even the door of Aarushi was like that of a hotel room which could be opened either from inside or with a key from outside. The keys of the room were with the parents of the victim, sources claimed.
The agency had also carried out narco-analysis test on Nupur and Rajesh which proved inconclusive, sources said.
