Boy's father killed by girl's relatives

Muzaffarnagar: Father of a youth was allegedly murdered by the relatives of a girl he was having a relationship with in the district here, police said today.

The victim's 26-year-old son, Gulfam, in a police complaint alleged that his father, Irshad (55), was abducted and later murdered by the relatives, including the brother, of his girlfriend Rabina as they were against their relationship.

Irshad, who was missing since January 6 from his house in Sujru village near here, was found murdered at a nearby area yesterday.

Gulfam had complained that the girl's family had earlier threatened him and was pressurising him to sever the relationship following which he had shifted to Bijnore.
