BSY faces another scandal
Bengaluru, Nov. 27: Though Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has claimed that he will no longer indulge in the denotification of land, more and more documents keep surfacing on land denotification allegedly involving the Chief Minister.
On Saturday, another set of documents was made public pertaining to the denotifcation of the land of a family in HRBR Layout in the city to enable the formation of 50X80 site to allegedly help out former MP Monika Das.
According to the documents, Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) had issued the final notification on the acquisition of the land in 1983-84 itself.
However, the owners of the 2 acre and 15 guntas plot, jointly owned by Akkayamma and Krishna Reddy, filed a requisition with the Chief Minister to get back their land, especially the 15 guntas in which their private family graveyard existed, in June 2008.
