Karnataka chief minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda faced some embarrassing moments when he arrived to distribute houses to flood victims, with his predecessor B.S. Yeddyurappa and his Cabinet colleagues showing up 45 minutes behind schedule at the venue here on Wednesday. When Mr Gowda landed here on Wednesday morning, he was received by two legislators, Srikanth Kulkarni (Jamkhandi) and Narayan Sa Bhandage, MLC, with no sign of either industries minister and local legislator, Murugesh Nirani, or district in-charge minister Govind M. Karjol. The former chief minister arrived in another helicopter along with Mr Karjol and housing minister V. Somanna later.
