BSY seeks divine ‘support’
Tiruchendur, Dec. 4: The Karnataka Chief Minister, Mr B.S. Yeddyurappa, specially performed the Sathru Samhara Yagam (a special pooja to weaken enemies) at the Arulmigu Subramanyaswamy temple in Tiruchendur in Thoothukudi district on Saturday.
Mr Yeddyurappa, whose government is facing series of challenges from within his party and from the Opposition, on the advice of astrologers, offered prayer at the temple, the land where according to Kandha Purana, Lord Muruga won the demon king, Surapadhman.
Mr Yeddyurappa said he had visited the temple to invoke divine blessings to serve better for the people of state and the nation.
