Buddha: Have proof of Trinamul-Maoist links

Continuing the letter-war, chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee on Thursday dashed off yet another letter to Union home minister P. Chidambaram furnishing “facts and figures” which he believes are clinching evidence of Trinamul Congress-Maoists links. The main evidence cited is the arrests of two Maoists — Asim Mahato and Amiya Mahato — from a Trinamul Congress camp at a guest house of Midnapore municipality which is controlled by the Trinamul Congress-Congress combine.
The chief minister himself confirmed that he has written to the Union home minister.
“Yes, I have sent a letter to Mr Chidambaram,” he said on Thursday afternoon on being asked whether he had written any letter to the Centre.
Although he refused to divulge the contents of the letter, sources at the chief minister’s office said he had given a detailed description of the arrests of the Maoists on January 31. “After these arrests in Midnapore town, the chief minister had announced that he would present them to the Union home minister as proof of the links between the Trinamul Congress and the Maoists. Today, he sent the letter by fax at 12.30 pm,” CMO sources revealed.
Mr Bhattacharjee in his letter also mentioned about a rally organised by the Trinamul Congress at Netai village in Lalgarh in West Midnapore on January 30 where members of the PCPA (People’s Committee Against Police Atrocities) actively participated. CPI(M) politburo member and Rajya Sabha MP Sitaram Yechury has already informed the Union home minister on February 1 about the development.
“The rally was addressed by a Union minister Sisir Adhikary where the members of the PCPA, a frontal organisation of the Maoists, were also seen with their banners,” Mr Yechury had said in his letter.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
